UPP’s ‘Small Business Pull-up’ returns to SMS as procession makes its way through Bolans community this weekend

The United Progressive Party (UPP) will again be supporting small,
medium and micro businesses, with part two of its “Small Business
Pull-up” in the St. Mary’s South constituency.

This second edition is slated for Saturday, July 15, with patrons
asked to gather at 1p.m.

The procession will gather at the Bolans Football Field, west of the
primary school, and wend its way through that community,
supporting the various businesses and highlighting their offerings
via social media.

Business owners and entrepreneurs have been clamouring for even
more support following a successful first outing on July 1 in Urlings.

The UPP says it believes in supporting neighbourhood enterprises
since the money stays in the community and helps with local
development.

Accordingly, it will continue to energize the small-business sector,
understanding the hard work, patience, and dedication it takes to
maintain successful micro, small and medium-sized ventures.

Studies suggest that small businesses account for 90% of the world’s
businesses, 60 to 70% of employment, and 50% of the global
economy.
