Thief breaks into Potters church and leaves with electronic items, while attempt to burgle house is Point is unsuccessful

Thieves are getting even more brazen and now have broken into a church, stealing electronic items.

The Police are now investigating the report of sacrilege, which occurred at the Kingdom Enforcers Ministry, Inc.

The minister of the church reported the matter to the Criminal Investigations Department after discovering that the building had been broken into, and a speaker and a standing fan had been stolen.

Officers visited the scene and conducted investigations but saw no signs of forced entry.  However, it is believed the intruder gained entry through a western door that was closed but, apparently, not locked.

The perpetrator then used force to break off a padlock that secured the office, ransacked the place, and stole the electronic items.

A search was carried out in and around the surrounding area for the stolen items, but neither was found.

This offence reportedly occurred between 1:30 p.m. on April 30 and 9 a.m. on May 7 at Potters Village.

Meanwhile, an attempted break-in is being investigated by the CID, after they received a report that an unknown person had tried to get into the home of a Point man.

This offence reportedly occurred e between 5:30 p.m. on May 2 and 11 a.m. on May 6.

Reports say that officers visited the home, where they noted an attempt to remove a screen from a living room window.
