Robbers hit Bolans restaurant and celebrate cash heist by letting off gunshots

Gun toting robbers have struck again, this time at an establishment in Bolans, where gunshots rang out on Thursday evening, May 4.

Reportedly, the Police are now on the hunt for the robbers, who made off with over $1,500 in cash from a restaurant.

It is alleged that the gunmen entered the business at around 7 p.m. and demanded money, and discharged their weapons before escaping on foot with the cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

The Police conducted a search in and around the immediate surroundings for the men and the loot, but without success.

Anyone with information on this or any other recent robberies is urged to contact the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 462-3913.

Law-enforcement sources say that, sometimes, there are up to four robberies in one day.  Therefore, residents should be on their guard, especially since the Carnival season is around the corner, and the young bandits are looking for money for fetes and to buy clothes for these events.
