Tax-collection bodies – Social Security, Medical Benefits and Board of Ed – to hold townhall meeting in Barbuda tomorrow

Tomorrow, Thursday, March 16, residents of Barbuda will be given an opportunity to have their questions about three statutory corporations answered.

A townhall meeting will be held at the Holy Trinity Primary School, at 6 p.m., in a collaborative effort with the Medical Benefits Scheme (MBS), the Social Security Scheme (SSS), and the Board of Education (BOE).

MBS Communications and Marketing Manager Dr. Janelle Charles-Williams spoke more about the initiative on the Good Morning Sass Show.

Dr. Charles-Williams says the bodies will be seeking feedback from Barbudans on ways to make registration and other procedures seamless.

Further, she says, medical certificates and other issues pertaining to health will be among the major topics to be discussed.
