With rising incidence of crime, UPP Chair asks whether Police are properly equipped to fight criminal activity
D. Gisele Isaac, Chairman of the United Progressive Party (UPP), is expressing concern about the rising incidence of crime and hinting that outside assistance may be needed.
Isaac spoke of the high number of gun-related incidents occurring in recent weeks and the significant number of unsolved crimes, as well. And she asks whether the police are sufficiently equipped to fight crime.
Isaac says a heightened police presence across the country is needed – but is lacking – especially at night, since this could serve as a deterrent to criminals.
She notes, too, that the Police were more active several years ago.
