Thieves break into Bendals Primary’s computer lab and make off with four laptops

Thieves continue to break into and vandalize education institutions across the country.

REAL News has received information that the Bendals Primary School is the latest school to be hit.

Reports say the Principal, Jose Joseph, made a report to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) after discovering the school had been broken into.

Further reports are that the perpetrators stole four Dell laptops from the computer lab.

Officers are said to have visited the school to conduct inquiries into the report and found signs of forced entry.

The intruders apparently used a southern window to gain access into the computer lab and then used the same window to make good their escape.

The window reportedly had been secured but was later found open.

Officers reportedly searched the immediate surroundings for the stolen computers, but without success.

The scene was processed and dusted for fingerprints and investigations into the matter are ongoing.

This offence reportedly occurred between 4:10 p.m. on Friday, April 22, and 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 24.
