Bass complains to MP Fernandez about state of Yorks community after road gangs left their job unfinished
Residents of Yorks are complaining about the state of the community, especially the rubbish and shrubbery which have been left at the side of the streets.
In recent weeks, road gangs have been deployed in the village to clear the grass, dirt and rubbish that have accumulated on the roadsides and in the gutters for well over a year.
But Labour Relations Consultant Henderson Bass, a resident of the community, is dissatisfied, first, with the lack of attention and, now, with the lack of interest in removing the debris.
Since the streets were cleaned some three weeks ago, much of the debris has simply been left there and is now falling back into the gutters, Bass points out.
