UPP invites the public to attend its virtual launch of new campaign website and materials on Wednesday

Ahead of its drive-in launch on Thursday night, the United Progressive Party will unveil a new logo, new tagline, and new website that will define and promote its campaign leading to the next General Elections.

A media launch to showcase these new materials will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, January 26, at 10 a.m., and will be carried on Progressive 107.3 FM and the Party’s Facebook and YouTube platforms.

Hosted by Dr. Jacqui Quinn, the launch will feature Political Leader Harold Lovell and General Secretary Senator Shawn Nicholas, who will elaborate on the Party’s new promotion.

Meanwhile, a release from the Party explains that the brand-new website is designed to engage audiences safely in this era of COVID-19.

“The new UPP website will be a ‘one-stop-shop’ for the campaign and a major tool in our communications strategy.  It has been designed to heighten the profiles of our 16 candidates; advance our people-centered policies; keep the public informed of campaign developments; and inform them on how they can support the Party,” the release says.

Supporters and those looking to learn more about the Party’s record of achievements will be able to find answers on the site, which will also feature “20 Reasons to Vote UPP” and the “History of the Party and its Founders.”

To capitalize on its digital reach, the site will feature an array of photos and videos and links to both REAL News and UPP-TV.  And, as the campaign progresses, the website will be updated with the Party’s plans and policies and its Manifesto, organizers say.

Residents are invited to tune in to tomorrow’s event; to send feedback; and to begin engagement with their Party and its Candidates immediately after the site is launched.
