Local virus cases are now just short of 4,000 mark, while the number of hospitalizations is dropping

The Ministry of Health recorded another 10 cases of the COVID-19 virus on Wednesday, October 20, bringing the country’s total confirmed infections to 3,994, with 545 now-active cases.

The new cases were realized from 106 samples processed at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.

Sixty-one recovered cases were also recorded, increasing that total to 3,352.  There are 22 hospitalized cases, down from 26, and 14 of these are mild; four moderate; and four severe. 

The dashboard reports that Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated 48,408 individuals while 7,347 are awaiting their second jab.
