Dashboard shows active virus cases are now past the 1,000-mark, while one-day total passes 100 once again

COVID-19 one-day infections have again increased to more than 100, while active cases have now surpassed the 1,000-mark.

The Ministry of Health’s most recent dashboard – for Wednesday, September 29 – confirms 105 new cases, taking the active-infections count to 1,022.

The new cases were realized from 107 samples processed at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and 158 at the Caribbean Public Health Agency, today’s release says.

Consequently, Antigua and Barbuda’s cumulative lab-confirmed cases stand at 3,336.

Twenty-seven recovered cases have increased that total to 2,233, and there are 48 hospitalized cases, 10 of which are severe.

Meanwhile, 42,650 individuals are fully vaccinated while 9,748 have received their first dose.
