PENSIONERS DISGRUNTLED THAT VACCINATION RAFFLES IS BEING EXTENDED WHILE SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENTS ARE OVERDUE

Some seniors they continue to wait for payment of their  Social Security pensions, and are complaining that the Government is hoarding money to meet its own agenda.

Yesterday’s Notes say the Cabinet has agreed to extend the weekly vaccination-inducement raffle of $5,000 by eight weeks or through to the end of August 2021.

Each week, those who have taken their first and second doses of the vaccine will have their names entered into a raffle for $5,000.

Further, the Notes say, the Cabinet is giving consideration to offering a second plot of land in the Judges Hill area to those who choose to be vaccinated in the ensuing weeks; a final decision is yet forthcoming.

The first parcel is to be raffled next week after the auditors examine the records, the Executive reports. 

However, speculation is already rife among residents that there will be “a fix,” ensuring that a supporter of the governing party wins.

Meanwhile, the Cabinet is encourages private businesses to offer incentives to their employees in order to ensure most of their workers are inoculated.
