Sarah-Ann Evangeline Joseph is celebrating her 102nd birthday today, April 21.
Joseph, who is affectionately referred to as “Mama Vida,” will not be celebrating in the usual way; rather, she will enjoy her birthday virtually due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, a few close relatives will celebrate with her in person,as well as Governor-General Sir Rodney Williams, who is considered a close friend.
Joseph’s son, Billy Russell, spoke on the Good Morning Sass Show today about his mother’s milestone. While she is not able to walk around “very strongly,” she is still looking very good for her age, he says.
Russell says his mother loves to talk and is still able to see and read without glasses.
