Three males, including a constable, released after intense questioning by cops investigating teen mom’s death

Three men – a police constable, a civilian, and the boyfriend of the teenaged
girl killed last week – have been released from custody after being grilled by
police investigators.

Reliable sources say the policeman had been summoned to the Serious Crimes
Unit to answer questions about his discovery of a toddler – the son of the
deceased – on Jonas Road, in the early hours of Friday morning, June 28.
The officer reportedly had then transported the child to the All Saints Police
Station and the boy was taken to the hospital for examination.

While REAL News will not disclose the details of the constable’s report,
insiders allege that his account aroused the suspicion of investigators; and a
civilian who reportedly had been in his company when the child was found
was questioned accordingly.

The sources also allege that there are some concerns about the private vehicle
the officer was driving at the time he claims he discovered the toddler.

Despite this, the sources allege, the car was not taken into custody and tested
for fibers that could determine whether the victim had been in the vehicle.
Meanwhile, the teenager’s boyfriend, who reportedly took custody of the child
at the hospital on Friday, was released on Monday, July 1, after intense
questioning, the insiders add.

The body of Yenifer Bridge, 17, a resident of Cooks Hill, was discovered in the
Fig Tree Drive area, after she had been reported missing via social media only
hours before.

While riding on a truck sometime after 9 a.m. that morning, a passenger
spotted the body of the young girl and called the Police.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding Bridge’s death continue
amidst the close scrutiny of a horrified public.

The first 48 hours are vital in any investigation, and it is felt that the Police are
dragging their feet on this one – perhaps because one of their own might be
implicated.
