Man comes face to face with intruder who stole his Play Station console and controller

A Gilpin Avenue, Grays Farm, man came face to face with the thief
who robbed him of his gaming console and controller, after having
broken into his house and stealing the items.

Officers from the Grays Farm Police Station are now investigating
the break-in and theft of a black Play Station 4 game console and
controller, reportedly valued at $900.

The Police carried out a search for the perpetrator and stolen items,
but without success.

Meanwhile, according to the victim, he had woken up to use the
bathroom when he saw the man exiting his eastern bedroom door.

The intruder reportedly was dressed in a grey vest, with a T-shirt
concealing his entire face. He is described as about six feet tall and
of a slim build.

Apparently, he had gained entry into the house by removing a single
louvre pane from a living-room window, creating enough space to
place his hand inside and unlock the living-room door.

These offences reportedly occurred sometime between 1 a.m. and
3:18 a.m. on October 12.
