Another sexual assault prompts healthcare worker to confirm the fear that a serial rapist is at work

A woman is recovering emotionally and physically after reportedly
being raped by a masked man, at her home, in the early morning
hours.

The offence reportedly occurred at about 5 a.m. on September 21.

Reports say the victim’s vision was obscured by her attacker, who
shined a light into her eyes.

However, the rapist, said to be about 5’5” tall, reportedly was
dressed in a grey hooded sweatshirt that helped to conceal his
identity.

It is alleged that the intruder entered the home via the front door,
which was closed but not locked.

The victim made a report to the Grays Farm Police Station, by phone,
and the matter was subsequently turned over to the Special Victims
Unit (SVU).

Meanwhile, a healthcare professional tells REAL News there have
been quite a number of rapes in the Golden Grove and Gray Hill
communities.

He says he cannot understand why the Police are suppressing this
information, which women should have in order to protect
themselves.

Our Newsroom has reported on several of these assaults, which
have also taken place in the Creekside area.

The description of the rapist and his method of operation in these
known attacks have been the same, leading one victim to declare
that a serial rapist is on the loose.
