UPP hosts third rally in support of Simon’s re-election, with the action being held on the Urlings Football Field tonight

The United Progressive Party (UPP) will be hosting a major rally in
the Urlings community tonight, Thursday, September 21, as the
countdown continues to the St. Mary’s South by-election.

Tonight’s meeting is set to take place at the Urlings Football Field at
7 p.m. and is the third rally in the constituency ahead of the by-
election. A number of speakers are lined up to take the podium in
support of the Party’s candidate, Kelvin “Shugy” Simon, the featured
speaker.

It was just days ago that Simon forced the Gaston Browne
Administration into cleaning the gutters and fixing a collapsed
culvert in the West Palm Beach, Bolans, community.

Residents are thanking Simon for his continued vigilance and
outspokenness in highlighting the issues that affect the community
and impact them.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Gaston Browne is yet to announce the
date for the poll, which, constitutionally, must be called within 120
days of June 8. Accordingly, almost 40 days remain on the calendar.

Simon tendered his resignation from the House of Representatives
on June 7, paving the way for this by-election.
