Incomplete death certificate allegedly signed off by official, sources allege, with critical information marked ‘Unknown’

An incomplete death certificate that reportedly has been signed off
by the coroner has become the cause of concern among certain
professionals.

According to reports received by REAL News, this document was
submitted without critical information – and, yet, it is alleged that it
received the official signature that would permit the body to be
buried.

Sources allege that the certificate does not record a date of birth,
age, gender, address, or even the name of the deceased person, and
no cause of death is specified. Reportedly, a medical doctor simply
filled in these necessary areas by marking the word “Unknown” on
the certificate.

Accordingly, the sources add, family members of the deceased have
not been located, and the Government, therefore, has had to assume
responsibility for the body.  However, it appears that no one is
concerned about the dead person’s identity.

Reportedly, the death certificate is already at the Civil Registry,
having been taken there last Thursday, July 27. But, the source says,
there is no way that the registrar could have issued such a document
with no information on the victim.

Meanwhile, it is not known whether burial of the deceased has
already taken place; but, if it has, it would be quite irregular, the
sources say.
