Solid Waste advises Cooks Extension of delay in collection services and apologizes to other communities for late start

For the second time in about a week the National Solid Waste
Management Authority (NSWMA) has announced a delay in its
waste-collection schedule in some areas.

In an effort to improve its services and reliability, the Authority is
advising the residents of Cooks Extension, including the Denfields
Development community, that its service will be delayed.
However, it says, it is working to resolve the issue promptly.

Meanwhile, the Authority acknowledges that there was an
unavoidably late start to Tuesday’s garbage-collection schedule in
several communities – Paradise View, Trade Winds, Marble Hill, and
All Saints East (Mock Pond) – and it thanks the residents for their
patience.

The Authority is again advising citizens that, if there is a delay or
missed collection of their residential waste, they should contact the
hotline number: 562-1347.
