Pelle pleads guilty to gun and ammunition-possession charges and is remanded until sentencing next week

On Tuesday May 23, the Police arrested and charged 21 year-old Elvis Pelle of Villa for unlawful possession of a .25 mm pistol and possession of three rounds of related ammunition. 

Reports say that officers executed a search warrant on a property occupied by the accused on Sunday, May 21, and discoverd the illegal gun and ammunition.  Accordingly, he was arrested and taken into custody. 

He appeared before the Court today Wednesday, May 24, and was remanded until next Tuesday for sentencing, having pleaded guilty to the charges.

Reportedly, there are other charges pending related to the robbery of an undisclosed sum of money from a resident of Yorks, in an incident that occurred on April 11, at Villa.
