Latest drug find at Deep Water Harbour yields 60 pounds of marijuana valued at more than $330k
Investigations have been launched into a drug find at the Deep Water Harbour, where almost 60 pounds of cannabis have been seized.
The joint drug-interdiction exercise was conducted by officers from the Narcotics Department, K-9 Unit. and the Customs Enforcement Unit early Tuesday morning, September 13.
During the operation two blue barrels were searched, and 56 vacuumed-sealed packages with the green bushy substance were found. The drugs have an estimated street value of $336,000.
As is customary, the boxes in which they were contained were transported to the Police Headquarters pending further investigations.
