Alex Browne chides St. Phillip’s North MP for failing to develop constituency and says voters should hold him accountable

Alex Browne, the United Progressive Party’s Candidate for St. Phillip’s North, is advising voters to hold the Antigua Labour Party accountable by questioning the representatives about their stewardship.

As a resident of the constituency, Browne claims it looks the same today as it did over 30 years ago. And yet, he says, the incumbent, Sir Robin Yearwood, has begun campaigning and is seeking another term in office.

Other than handing out jobs for votes, Browne charges, Sir Robin has done nothing meaningful in the constituency; and, therefore, the people should hold him accountable for his shortcomings.

Browne outlines some of the development that could take place in St. Phillip’s North, including transformation of the East Coast into another mini town.
