$15,000 reward on offer for information that leads to the arrest of persons responsible for Golden Grove double-homicides
The police are offering a reward of $15,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the double homicide in Golden Grove in July.
The Police say any information provided will be treated with strict confidentiality.
Persons may contact the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 462-3913 or the Crime Stoppers’ anonymous hotline at 800-Tips (8477).
The Police are still investigating the circumstances that led to the homicides of 65-year-old Tyrone Baptiste and his 61-year-old wife “Pia” Visser-Baptiste.
On Wednesday, July 20, the bodies of the couple were found inside their home with multiple gunshot wounds.
The Police say that, following the incident, several people were taken into custody and questioned; however, they were all released.
A coroner’s inquest has already been held, while the post-mortems are still pending, according to the Police.
