Two youth accused in Parham-superette robbery and shooting will appear in court on charges of attempted murder
Two Parham men who reportedly were involved in an armed robbery and the shooting of a middle-aged woman last Friday, July 15, will make their first court appearance today, July 21, on charges of attempted murder.
The Police have arrested and jointly charged Irannie Grant, 25, and 20-year-old Neil Mitchell in connection with the incident, which left Claudette Edwards, also of Parham, nursing a gunshot injury.
The two youth will be appearing in the All Saints Magistrates Court before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel-Edwards.
Both accused allegedly robbed the 57-year-old woman in a superette in Parham and, in the process, shot and injured her when she reportedly put up a valiant fight.
A source said Edwards was shot in the stomach and also beaten by the two robbers.
