The results of Grades Two and Four National Assessments will measure students’ position in their education recovery

While the annual Grade Six National Assessment exams are concluding today, June 2, the Grades Two and Four National Assessments were concluded last week.

Ineta Francis, Education Officer for Measurement and Evaluation, says 1,262 students participated in those assessments. The results will be released to educators at the opening of the new school year and discussions will be held at that time.

Francis says the results of these tests will be used to determine the stage at which the students now stand in their education recovery, which has been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
