Antigua To Gift 5,000 Vaccines To Grenada

Antigua and Barbuda will be donating 5,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to the Government and people of Grenada.
 
The donation will be taken from a shipment of 40,000 vials – a gift from the Government of India – which is expected on island this Sunday, February 28. according to Minister of Information Melford Nicholas.

Antigua and Barbuda received a gift of the same number of doses, about two weeks ago, from the Government of Dominica.
 
Accordingly, Information Minister Melford Nicholas says it is only fair for this country to make such a the gesture, especially to those Caribbean territories that have been unable to access the vaccine at an early stage.
