A business on Lower All Saints Road was targeted by thieves in the early hours of Friday morning, but a swift police response sent the suspects fleeing — and all of the stolen items were recovered on the spot.
Around 3:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, police responded to a report of a break-in in progress at a store located on Lower All Saints Road. Upon arrival, officers observed three male suspects dressed in dark clothing exiting the building.
The suspects, described as two males approximately six feet tall and another about five feet eight inches tall, fled the scene in separate directions. No arrests had been made at the time of this report.
The suspects had removed eleven 43-inch JVC televisions, one 32-inch Royal television, two drills, one tool kit, and one power vacuum cleaner from the premises. All of the stolen items were subsequently recovered directly outside the building.
The recovery of the goods is being seen as a direct result of the timely police response, which appears to have caught the thieves off guard before they could transport the items from the scene.
Police are continuing investigations into the alleged Building Breaking and Larceny and are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying and locating the three suspects.
