A new chapter of judicial leadership has begun for the Eastern Caribbean as Her Ladyship the Honourable Madam Margaret Price Findlay takes the helm of one of the region's most important legal institutions.
The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court has announced that His Majesty King Charles III has, by letters patent, appointed Her Ladyship the Honourable Madam Margaret Price Findlay as the 14th Chief Justice of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, effective April 9, 2026.
Her Ladyship takes office following a remarkable legal and judicial career defined by exemplary service, sound jurisprudence, and an unwavering commitment to justice across the Eastern Caribbean sub-region.
A Court of Regional Significance
As Chief Justice, Her Ladyship will provide vital judicial leadership and administrative oversight for the ECSC, which serves six independent Member States and three British Overseas Territories within the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States.
The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court is the superior court of record for the OECS member states, hearing matters that range from constitutional disputes and criminal appeals to commercial litigation and civil matters of profound consequence to ordinary citizens and governments alike across the sub-region.
