Police accept donation of crime-fighting equipment from company owned by former Bolans resident living in the USA

“Timely” is how the Police describe the recent donation of crime-fighting apparatus that the Force received from a United States-based company.

On Thursday, November 17, the Police received several pieces of equipment from a representative of Francis Criminologist’s Law, who made the presentation to the agency.

The items included a desktop and laptop computers and projectors, as well as body cameras, police radios, and other accessories.

During the brief ceremony, Everson Francis, the company’s principal, expressed his delight in being able to contribute to the Police’s crime-fighting efforts.

Deputy Commissioner Everton Jeffers, who accepted the items on behalf of the Force, said the much-needed equipment came at an opportune time and will be put to immediate use.

He expressed gratitude to Francis and his company for partnering with the Police, adding that he is looking forward to this continued working relationship.

Francis is originally from Bolans Village and attended the Jennings Secondary School before migrating to the United States.
