Hospital has resumed normal operations, following Tammy, and advises patients with clinic appointments to keep them

The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) has resumed normal
operations following the passage of Hurricane Tammy.

The hospital had postponed a number of its services and altered
visiting hours during the storm’s passage last weekend. However,
its schedules – including visiting and outpatient services –
returned to normal on Monday, October 23.

Officials at the medical facility are advising persons with clinic
appointments to attend them, as planned, if they have not already
been contacted. However, a member of its care team will contact
those whose appointment may need to be rescheduled.
