Man, woman, and child injured in landlord-and-tenant dispute about stolen money, with all three taken to the hospital

Two people, including a landlord, were wounded during an altercation that
stemmed from accusations about money.

Reports say that a 31-year-old Grays Farm woman reported to the Police that
her landlord had bitten her about the body and wounded her on the right ear,
right side of the face, back, and forehead during the dispute.

According to further reports, the landlord and his tenant had become
embroiled in an argument over some money that the woman had accused him
of taking.

The disagreement escalated into a fight between them, during which the man
reportedly inflicted the wounds and bit his tenant, who had to be transported
by the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) for treatment at the Sir Lester Bird
Medical Centre.

This offence reportedly occurred at about 7:30 a.m. on May 4 in Grays Farm.

However, in a counter complaint, the landlord also made a report of the
confrontation to the Police.

He accused the female of wounding him on the left side of the face with a
cutlass and of biting him on the right side.

The man also confirmed that the woman had accused him of taking monies
belonging to her – from which the argument and fight ensued.

Reportedly, as she inflicted the wound to his face, the man says the cutlass fell
and accidentally injured his three-year-old son, who received a small
laceration on the left side of his face, as well.

The man and his son, like the woman, were both taken to the hospital by EMS
personnel for medical treatment.
