Stone-throwers accused of damaging vehicle and wounding owner during incident in Cashew Hill

Two Cashew Hill men are reportedly in trouble for wounding another
villager in the head with a stone.

It is alleged that the two perpetrators, whose aliases are “Shark” and
“Blacks,” threw stones at the victim’s vehicle, in which he was sitting, and
one of them struck him on the left side of the head.

The man reportedly went to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID)
with a bleeding wound and made a complaint. He later had to seek medical
attention for his injury.

It is alleged that the victim had been sitting in a 2008 silver Honda FIT,
registration No. R5136, when the alleged offenders used stones to break
the rear glass of the vehicle and, in doing so, struck him.

An initial police search did not locate the accused pair.
This offence reportedly occurred at about 8 a.m. on March 26 at Cashew
Hill.
