Date of General Election is January 18, 2023, Prime Minister announces at ALP camping launch

Last night, December 19, Prime Minister Gaston Browne announced that the General Election will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, with Nomination Day being December 28, 2022.

The Antigua Labour Party also rolled out its slate of Candidates, including Rawdon Turner, for the disputed St. Peter constituency, ahead of a concert that featured local soca stars and a Jamaican reggae artiste.

United Progressive Party Leader Harold Lovell will respond to the election-date announcement this morning at 10 a.m. via social media and Progressive FM.
