Quinn-Williams and UPP Rural North Branch to offer training programme to help job-seekers ace interviews

There will be a one-day training programme on “Interview Do’s and Don’ts” for persons seeking to enter the job market for the first time and for those who are currently unemployed.

Pearl Quinn-Williams, the United Progressive Party (UPP) Candidate for St. John’s Rural North, is hosting the event tomorrow, Thursday, October 27, and it will run from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Quinn-Williams says the interview process can be a bit intimidating to some people; so this training can help to ease those fears and ensure the applicant is looked at favourably during an interview.

The UPP Candidate says there are many things that some people take for granted, including the way they dress and their body language.  Accordingly, tips on these areas will be provided at Thursday’s interactive session.

Quinn-Williams says this is a timely initiative, adding that a slate of professionals will be offering their advice free of cost.

The activity will be held at the UPP Rural North Branch Office on the Cedar Grove Main Road.
