Questions are being raised about the true ownership of properties in the Dredge Bay housing project, a project to provide affordable housing to first time homeowners

Reports have emerged that a Member of Parliament and a family member may benefitting from the housing development in the Dredge Bay community, where National Housing has constructed several homes.

The housing project was conceived to provide affordable housing for first time homeowners, in particular, civil servants.

Reportedly, a number of the homes on the waterfront area were acquired by the MP and are being rented to medical students.

Allegations are that the tenants pay up to US$600 each.

That area of the housing project reportedly has its own generator and security services provided by a private security firm.
