Construction firm leaves quarters next to polyclinic in disgusting condition; Wehner asks Health Minister to intervene

The Chinese firm that constructed the Glanvilles Polyclinic left its staff quarters and compound in a deplorable and nasty condition, video footage now in circulation shows.

REAL News correspondent George Wehner, who lives in the community served by the clinic, visited the location recently and documented the condition of the grounds. The site is adjacent to the new medical facility.

Piles of old wood, construction materials and garbage are seen strewn all over the vacated premises.  Viewers are also a hole in the ground filled with garbage and the site of a fire that was set sometime last year.

Wehner is calling on Sir Molwyn Joseph, the Minister of Health and the Environment, to intervene and have the compound cleaned, since the National Solid Waste Management Authority falls under his portfolio.
