LOCAL AUTHOR BARBARA ARRINDELL LAUNCHES CLUB TO HELP YOUTH AND ADULTS ENHANCE THEIR WRITING SKILLS
Local author Barbara Arrindell has launched a creative-writing club that is geared towards enhancing the prowess of young people, as well as adults.
She says the idea was born from the inquiries of many persons who expressed an interest in writing, over the years.
Arrindell, who manages the Best of Books, says the business has hosted several workshops and training sessions to help residents enhance their writing skills. However, she says she has decided, personally, to pursue this venture.
Next Monday, April 19, and Tuesday, April 20, sessions will commence with the teen and pre-teen club, followed by the adult club.
Arrindell says topics will be covered during four-week sessions touching on character development.
