A young footballing star has announced a place in Antigua and Barbuda’s sporting landscape in the most fitting way possible — by taking home the top individual prize at one of the island’s most celebrated youth football events.

Aadaiyah Freeland of Generation X Football Club was presented with the Golden Boot Award in the Under-7 Division at the ACB Caribbean Junior Premier League Annual Awards Ceremony, in recognition of outstanding performance, hard work, and sportsmanship.

The award was presented by Shand Merchant, Marketing Manager at Flow, the league’s official telecommunications sponsor, who represented the company at the ceremony.

The Golden Boot, awarded to the division’s top scorer, is among the most coveted individual honours in the Junior Premier League — a competition that has long served as a proving ground for the nation’s next generation of sporting talent. For Aadaiyah to claim the award at the Under-7 level speaks not only to natural ability but to the dedication and discipline that Generation X Football Club has clearly helped to nurture.

The ACB Caribbean Junior Premier League Annual Awards Ceremony brings together young footballers, families, coaches, and sponsors to celebrate the achievements of the season — and this year, it was Aadaiyah’s moment to shine.
