Two Men in Custody After CID and SSU Seize Jewellery in Early-Morning Hatton Search Warrant Operation

Two men are in police custody this morning after investigators executing coordinated search warrants at separate properties in Hatton discovered a quantity of jewellery and other items believed to be connected to a suspected theft investigation.

At approximately 5:45 a.m. on Monday, June 22, officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department Task Force and the Special Services Unit carried out the simultaneous search operations as part of ongoing investigations into reports of suspected jewellery theft.

During the searches, officers discovered and seized a quantity of jewellery, a mobile phone, and several other items. Both men were subsequently arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property and are currently in custody assisting investigators with their inquiries.

The identities of the two suspects have not been released by police, and no formal charges had been announced at the time of publication.
