construction site at Sugar Ridge

A truck driver continues to nurse minor injuries after he was involved in a
mishap while driving a concrete-mixer truck. Reports say the truck
overturned as the driver was trying to maneuver the vehicle down a slope.

Further reports are that the Freeman’s Village man was delivering concrete to
a construction site at Sugar Ridge on Thursday, May 30, at about 12:30 p.m.
While he was reversing, the truck became unbalanced, tipped to the side and
overturned onto its side.

The driver had to be transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for
treatment, but, fortunately, he escaped serious injury.
