Mother of missing teen laments the manner in which police officers have sidelined her in handling of the case

The mother of a missing 18-year-old is lamenting the way in which law enforcement is handling the March 17 disappearance of her son.

On that date, Kevin Millette Jr. – who was living in Greenbay with his aunts – was last seen wearing long black pants, a long-sleeved T-shirt, and blue-and-white sneakers.

The car he reportedly had rented was found burnt-out later that day in the vicinity of Potworks Dam.

Millette’s mother, Chenezza Toulon, claims that law-enforcement officers are yet to reach out and inform her whether any investigations have begun.

Toulon was speaking on the OBSERVER AM programme on Wednesday, April 12.

Recounting the hours following her son’s disappearance, the grieving mother says she received a phone call from her sister on March 18 advising that young Millette was missing.

To this day, Toulon claims, lawmen have offered no assistance in their efforts to locate the missing teen, and even when she reached out to them to go on a search, they never showed up.

Millette is a past student of the Greenbay Primary School and was a Fourth Form student at the Princess Margaret School at the time of his disappearance.
