The country’s COVID-19 situation appears to be improving, with only 61 active cases, in spite of the nine newly confirmed infections on Saturday June 18.
The Ministry of Health’s most recent dashboard indicates that five of these cases were recorded on June 17 and four on June 18. They were realized from 64 samples processed at the hospital.
There were 39 recoveries during this period, and there are two hospitalized cases: one moderate and the other mild.
Therefore, the country’s total lab-verified COVID-19 cases stand at 8,590, with 141 fatalities.
