New wing of Sir McChesney George Secondary is in partial use, and Principal says it addresses the problem of overcrowding

The newly constructed wing of the Sir McChesney George Secondary School is in partial use, as the keys have been officially handed over to the school’s management.

Principal John Mussington says that construction was completed a few weeks ago.

In spite of the wing being completed, Mussington says that only a few classrooms, the staff room and the home economics lab are in use.

The Principal says the addition has greatly assisted in addressing the problem of overcrowding, especially given the challenges of space brought on by the pandemic.
