Harold Lovell, the Political Leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP), says Antigua and Barbuda’s restrictions and protocols regarding air travel are creating confusion for visitors, and he is calling on the relevant authorities to address it.
Lovell says he has received complaints that travellers are confused and the protocols are creating roadblocks at the airport.
He says that tourism stakeholder are calling for clearer travel advisories to be posted, since the current one is perplexing.
Lovell, who served five successful years as Minister of Tourism, says the current restrictions and protocols are a deterrent for people who are now reconsidering travelling here.
However, he is promising that a UPP Administration will unravel and correct the confusion.
