Chief Health Inspector Martin wants more businesses to comply with Covid-19 protocols and says health is more important than making money

Chief Health Inspector Sharon Martin says that there are still some businesses that remain defiant in following the established protocols; however, she says that for the most part compliance has been generally good.

Martin says that many of these businesses have expressed concern that the protocols are causing them to lose money.

But she believes that health is more important than making money.

Meanwhile, Martin says that her department was recently staffed with nine COVIC-19 compliance officers who have been doing a good job in ensuring that businesses abide by the protocols.

She says that the officers have had some challenges and spoke of an incident in which the police had to be called in to assist.
