National Parks Authority puts Visitor Passes on sale for convenient entry to Dockyard and other attractions

The National Parks Authority will be embarking on a new venture to coincide with its ongoing celebration of the Antigua Naval Dockyard’s 60th anniversary.

As part of a special offer, the Authority is bringing a new level of convenience and access to the country’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site by making “Visitor Passes” available to the public.

The passes are being made available at a special rate and in various categories, based on the purposes for which a person requires entry into the yachting facilities or to the main attractions throughout the National Park.

“As part of the special one-time anniversary deal, residents are being offered a one-year pass for only EC$50.00, while a Family Pass for up to six persons is going for EC$200,” the Authority says.

This special offer will run for the duration of the anniversary celebrations, while a season pass created for visitors will expire at the end of the yachting season.

According to the National Parks, that pass is being sold for US$100, while a daily pass for visitors is US$15.

The passes are now available from Guest Services at the entrance of the Dockyard.  A valid ID is required for the purchase.
